Anger Management Group
The goals of the individual or group sessions are
To increase awareness of anger expression patterns;
To learn how our anger experience is shaped by our development and what we can learn from our family and environment;
To identify current and past situations that fuel anger;
To identify responsibilities in the current anger situation that resulted in either a self or outside referral;
To develop specific ways to de-escalate potentially hurtful situations;
To decrease verbal and physical manifestations of anger, while increasing awareness and acceptance of emotions.
Meditation Instruction Group
My 6-week meditation instruction group was specifically designed to help assist people in everyday life to:
Learn the basics of meditation
Create a consistent practice
Learn the obstacles that may stand in your way of a regular practice
Learn about and explore self-compassion and compassion for others
Integrate the teachings and practices by bringing them off the cushion into your everyday life
